Pole Setter was purchased for owner Steve Landers for $220,000 from the 2018 OBS April Sale. After winning on debut, he picked up Graded placing in the G3 Iroquois Stakes in September of his 2yo year. As a 3yo, he earned his first Stakes win in the Paradise Creek Stakes at Belmont.
