2022 Breeders’ Cup Weekend Has Arrived With 6 Entries

GOODNIGHT OLIVE, a last out winner of the G1 Ballerina in Saratoga, lines up as the morning line favorite in Saturday’s G1 Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Sprint for owners First Row Partners and Team Hanley.

She’ll be taking on Frank Fletcher and Ten Strike Racing’s LADY ROCKET, who comes into the race off a 104 Beyer, the co-best last out Beyer in the race, when finishing 2nd in the G2 Gallant Bloom last out.

A winner of the Skidmore Stakes in Saratoga this summer over 5 1/2 furlongs, OXYMORE returns to that distance on Friday in the G1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint for Michael Dubb, Madaket Stables, Morris Bailey and Bill Rucker.

DELIGHT, a Crow-Sharp Venture pinhook and a last out winner of the G2 Jessamine at Keeneland in October, will look to build on that success in Friday’s G1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf.

The ageless CHANNEL MAKER, owned by Wachtel Stable, Gary Barber, R. A. Hill and Reeves Thoroughbreds, will make a record 6th appearance in a Breeders’ Cup Race when he takes part in Saturday’s G1 Breeders’ Cup Turf.

C Z ROCKET, who was 2nd in the Breeders’ Cup Sprint the last time it was held at Keeneland, will take his third shot at the race for owners Altamira Racing Stable, Tom Kagele, Madaket Stables and Gary Barber.
