Last week at Saratoga featured a couple of BSW private acquisitions, both purchased in conjunction with Mandore Agency, who showed up in a big way.
Uni (GB), a G1 winning daughter of More Than Ready, posted a gallant 3rd place finish in the G1 Fourstardave against males after being more than ten lengths off the pace and enduring a tough trip in the stretch. Still, she was able to post a career best 103 Beyer Speed Figure in the process, while earning some more valuable G1 blacktype. The five year old will likely target the $1,000,000 G1 Woodbine Mile for owners Michael Dubb, Head of Plains Partners, Bob LaPenta and Bethlehem Stables. She was purchased in conjunction with Mandore Agency in the spring of her three year old year.
On Friday, Malakeh (GB) took down an allowance race over one mile on the turf, showing a late burst of speed to get up by three quarters of a length for Heider Family Stables, Madaket Stables and Michael Kisber. The four year old filly earned a career best Beyer Speed Figure of 90 in the process and will now likely return to stakes company. The multiple Group 2 placed daughter of Harbour Watch was purchased by BSW Bloodstock in conjunction with Mandore Agency in September of 2018.
