Liam the Charmer (#7) proved victorious after a 363 day layoff for trainer Mike McCarthy under a perfectly timed ride by Drayden Van Dyke. Biding his time at the back of the field, Liam the Charmer displayed his quick turn of foot to weave his way through horses in the stretch, getting his nose down in front on the wire.

Earning a 96 Beyer, one point off of his career best 97, Liam the Charmer showed he is back in peak career form and will look to stakes company for his next outing.
